Each 1kg spool comes on a reusable basic spool and uses a standard 1.75mm filament diameter.

Cautions for Use

• AMS Compatible — Compatible with Bambu Lab AMS and AMS lite systems
• Slow the Outer Wall — Reduce outer wall speed to around 40 mm/s to optimise print quality and the silk finish
• Dual-Color Rotation — PLA Silk Dual Color can occasionally rotate during printing, which may cause uneven colour transitions. Bambu Lab does not recommend this filament for A-series printers because of their higher risk of filament rotation
• Dry Before Use — Dry the filament before printing if it has absorbed moisture

Recommended Print Settings

• Material: PLA Silk Multi-Color
• Filament Diameter: 1.75mm ± 0.03mm
• Size: 1kg
• Nozzle: 0.2mm or 0.4mm stainless steel, or 0.4mm hardened steel recommended
• Nozzle Temperature: 190–230°C
• Bed Temperature: 35–45°C with glue where required
• Drying: 55°C for 8 hours
• Outer Wall Speed: Around 40 mm/s for improved print quality
• Storage: Store in a dry environment with desiccant after use

PLA Silk Dual Color blends two vibrant silk tones into a single strand, allowing the visible colour effect to change as the printed model is rotated. PLA Silk Gradient provides smooth colour transitions across the spool, with each colour segment covering approximately 20m (65g+) of filament.
